The manufacture of plastic bottle caps with a promising market has become an important component in the packaging industry in China. To meet this demand, our company developed the automatic molding machine with continuous production process recently.
Compared with conventional injection molding machines, this machine is superior in:
1. Cost effectiveness. It takes about 4 kilowatt per hour to manufacture 1,000 plastic bottle caps for conventional injection molding machines. While in the same condition, this machine not only consumes less than 1.5 kilowatt per hour but also saves large quantity of cooling water. Besides, its die cavities are separated from each other and are not connected with the heat flow channel of the extruder so the material utilization rate is as high as up to 98%.
2. Good product quality. A wider selection of materials can be adopted with this mold pressing technique. For example, materials with low melt flow index which have a better stress cracking resistance and better mechanical properties to high-density polyethylene and a better impact resistance to polypropylene. In addition, proper regulation of heating and cooling temperatures in processing plastic materials can produce molds with better and more stable shape. Mold-pressed caps are free from injection point so they are more beautiful with better printing effect.
3. High production efficiency. This machine uses continuous production process instead of intermittent one, so the production efficiency is very high with 12,000 caps per hour. Moreover, it’s also convenient to replace materials and molds, which reduces working hours.
4. Investment efficiency. Compared with the investments of other injection molding machines, this machine costs less, especially when producing caps with demanding specifications in batches. In addition, this machine is compact, easy to operate and convenient in maintenance.
